Shocking footage have been captured showing DJs mercilessly abusing next generation DJ equipment in the name of entertainment. DMC world champions JFB and Mr Switch decided that just standing in front of the Rane Twelve and Seventy Two playing tracks wasn’t enough for them, and instead chose to use and abuse the equipment in ways that they were not designed for.
I doubt that “can you scratch with your foot?” or “what about with the face?” were primary considerations when the good people at Rane were coming up with this particular flavour of envelope-pushing nextlevelness. I’m sure that other DJs would have shown greater respect for this gear. I’m disappointed guys — very disappointed indeed.
