Official flight case for Traktor Kontrol S8 available now

s8 flight case asterisk

Native Instruments’ Traktor Kontrol S8 (Jared’s review here)  is a hefty lump to lug about, especially if you are gigging; and at £870, you’ll want to take care of it. Until recently, options have been limited, with both UDG and Magma offering custom cases and bags. But now, NI themselves have thrown their hat into the ring with a good ol’ fashioned metal flight case.

For £160, you can now get a metal-framed flight case designed especially for the S8 controller, and it’s official, if you’re into that sort of thing. Check out the details I’ve nicked from the site:

There’s nothing too groundbreaking here, but if you own the S8, this could be very useful. The case does have a nifty compartment underneath the controller to store your laptop, as seen in the photos. For what it’s worth, it looks to be built like the cases of old, and as such should be up to keeping your gear safe from a lot of punishment.

The Traktor Kontrol S8 Flight Case is available now, for the princely sum of £159. Check out the product page for more details.
