The Red Bull Thre3Style battle offers a slightly different take on DJ competitions for those not especially entrenched in the finer points of turntablism. Instead of chin-rubbing scratch click counting, there’s a greater element of mixing and stage presence i.e. crowd pleasing performance is just as important as turntable trickery. Serato has long been a patron of the battle, and has in the past has created some very fetching 10″ picture disks for the event. And now they’ve made some more very limited editions in Thre3Style colours.
To be honest, I don’t know why I’m even posting this, because I’m 100% certain that these will be snapped up in an instant. If you’re lucky, you can get a pair in a single pack for 42 euros plus delivery from the Serato Store.
