Having got Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night out of the way, the Christmas gates are now open good and proper. Thus a steady stream of wallet-friendly DJ products are likely to be hitting the pages of DJWORX. And after yesterday’s £199 Pioneer DDJ-SB stocking filler comes a pair of headphones that we know you’re going to be keen to add to your Christmas list. The AIAIAI TMA-1 headphones are very highly regarded, but perhaps a little outside a lot of DJ’s price range. Thus the TMA-1 X cans are going to make you sit up and take notice.
Here’s the word ya heard:

Just to supplement the press release, the price is $129, €119, and £99. I bet I have your attention now right?
I really liked the original TMA-1 headphones — what’s not to like? But for a lot of DJs, there’s a price point that they won’t go beyond, and the TMA-1 was perhaps above that point for too many DJs, especially with the legendary Sennheiser HD25s coming in a lot cheaper. So it’s no surprise that AIAIAI would cut back some of the more DJ specific requirements (looks like fixed ear pieces and cable) to hone down on a pair of headphones that ooze TMA-1 but without the big price.
For those who don’t read the press release, the TMA-1 X DJ headphones will be available late November for $129, €119, and £99.
