Yesterday, the DJ media went cockahoop at the news from respected news agency Reuters that the Pioneer Corporation was in the progress of closing an alleged $570m deal to sell off their Pioneer DJ division. What we have is an official statement from Pioneer HQ regarding the media speculation, and it goes a little something like this:
So there you have it. Officially, no decisions have been made. But what the above message says is “but if you’re interested, we would probably at least take a meeting”, which is probably how this whole thing started anyway.
