What is your home DJ tech set up currently?

2 x Technics 1210. Pioneer 900 Nexus Mixer, 2 x Pioneer CDJ 2000, Genelec monitors

What do you most often play out on these days?

Vinyl

What DJ tech did you use in your early days? (We’d love to see some photos!)

Just Technics Mk2’s – that is all anyone used in the late 80’s, 90’s

What’s on the tech shopping list?

Maybe some modular synth stuff, that looks like a lot of fun.

What’s been your favourite ever gig?

Too many to mention but here are some, the Space Terrace back in the 90’s in Ibiza, Manumission main room at Privilage Ibiza as the sun rises, playing for Renaissance at The Cross in London, sunsets at Cafe Mambo, playing at Glastonbury

Throughout your career is there a piece of equipment that you have just never got on with?

Headphones, I always seem to break them and only get sound in 1 ear (Editor – Unavoidable for a working DJ!). I currently use Sony MDR7596.

From a DJing point of view what three things do you always take to a gig apart from USB and headphones obviously!

Viny, nothing else really, I keep it simple. (Editor – Love this)

Can you talk us through your productions? (If any)

Too many to mention, I made chill out, drum n bass, house, techno, latin jazz.

Editor – Just one example is this mix that is often on the office stereo from the early 2000’s

If you still have vinyl at home, how much?

I had 15,000 but now around 6000

Outside of DJing and production, what tech do you use at home?

I’m not a fan, I don’t even have wifi in the house, I wouldn’t use smart devices either.

Can you let us know three apps that are essential to you?

I have so few apps to be honest but maybe Shazam, Starchart and Tradingview

What app would you like to spread the word about?

None really, I use as little devices as possible and think people should spend more time in nature.

What non-music related product can’t you live without?

My Tibetan singling bowl (Editor – Look this up)

Any DJs or producers that we should watch out for?

Made By Pete and Kasango, I manage both of them and both super talented and rising fast

Been to any great clubs or events recently?

Savaya in Bali, RYX live at Garden of Light in Iniza

Football team?

Don’t like football
