Manufacturers, God bless ’em, do their best to make their DJ gear as pleasing to the eye as possible, which more often than not means uninspiring slabs of black and silver. So companies like DJ Skins (hi Daniel!) have popped up to enable you to make your gear your own… complete mess if you don’t know what you’re doing. Thus Reloop has teamed up with them to make their controller range customisable, and to mark this event, they’re giving away their flagship powered Terminal Mix 4 complete with a DJ Angelo designed makeover.
It’s one of those comps where you have to do just about nothing to enter. Read on:
Now you can personalise your Reloop controller, thanks to a new co-operation between Reloop and DJ-Skins.com!
DJ-Skins.com is the rapidly growing online portal for customising your equipment to your own design. It’s the place that you can buy skins for some of the world’s top DJ equipment brands, and they’ve already worked with such global artists as Armand van Helden, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Justice, Laidback Luke and Mr. Oizo.
Now any owners of the Terminal Mix 2, Terminal Mix 4, Jockey 3 ME, Jockey 3 Remix or BeatMix can develop their own controller skin designs.
To celebrate this new co-operation, Reloop are giving away a personalised Terminal Mix 4 designed by their long-time endorser DJ Angelo. Find out more at http://www.reloop.com/facebook.
So get thee to Reloop’s Facebook page, pop your name in some boxes and you’re done. Good luck!
Is it just me that is sick of every single competition revolving around “like us on facebook to enter”
Facebook is a massive driver of traffic for companies. It’s their shop window to the world, and if you “like” them on Facebook, it means that when they have something to say, it immediately appears in your timeline. It’s pure marketing and a most effective way of communicating with potential customers.
I completely understand the purposes behind it, I (like many) are just extremely sick of facebook and are trying to minimize anything I have to do with it.
I don’t mind the liking. It’s the “we want access to your house, your car, your bank account, your girlfriend and your dog” that stops me from liking some of them. :-)
No facebook page for me. Oh well.
