We all love performance videos, and Atomix keep shooting them. This time, the Atomix Power Room video comes from Canada and features DJ All Good, who delivers a short routine on the Rane Sixty-Two with VirtualDJ and DVS.

What I do like is the mobile classroom dubbed the Turntemple. Essentially it’s a 26 foot U-Haul truck fitted out with 12 sets of turntables and some other digital setups, and serves as a school to teach people the basics of DJing. It’s a great idea to take DJing to the masses rather than expecting the masses to come to learn.

Another great video, and I especially love the subtlety of the waveform overlays. They were becoming tiresome in DJ videos, but this is nice, and would even make for a great product too.

  1. Nice one Mr All Good :) The turntemple is such a nice DJ haven. Having had a few sessions in there myself, I can say it’s nothing short of a huge benefit to turntablism and DJing in general here in British Colombia.

  2. VDJ should do better with their pricing. I would not pay 300 dollars for VDJ Pro knowing I’ll never use video.

Instead they should do something like the competitors, offering three choices to chose from: VDJ Pro Full, VDJ Pro Full minus the video, and VDJ Pro Full minus the video and Timecode.
