Atomix is out on the road again with the Atomix Power Room, putting the power of Virtual DJ’s new DVS abilities in the hands of ordinary mortals. Well… by ordinary mortals, I mean those blessed with excellent turntablist skills, and in this case it’s the turn of DJ Lazyboy who puts out one of his sets via a Rane Sixty Two and Virtual DJ.
I do like how this series showcases not only VDJ’s abilities in the DVS side of things, but also puts the spotlight on DJs and scenes that might not necessarily get the exposure that they deserve. So big up everyone involved in this series. I’m looking forward to more in the future.
Most excellent routine! rsp
Yay for real music. Yay for genuine enthusiasm and love of djing. Danke
nice still not a fan of the stock skin . but there or a few good skins i would use
If you are a pro member you have access to tons of skins though. Check it out sometime.
i am i have been from around 2008 on up i switched from torq to vdj and then to mixvibes :)
LAZYBOY killed that routine! Big Ups! #1200Hustle
Great routine. The constant finger moistening really did it for me.
You can actually follow the music :) Most turntablists, albeit excellent technicians, don’t play music… Another one playing music with wonderful turntablism technique is Chris Karns aka Dj Vajra.
Pleasure not to hear another Fresh& Ahh scratch routine. :)
VDJ (That I love and I have in Pro version) is a classic example how the Skin (and global appearance) can destroy global image of one of greatest Dj software (in the 8 version) ever made.
Pity.
PS: I fully know that skin are “replaceable”..but this even worst. just to see the skin gallery in website to feel like in a “unprofessional” software (that is in reality is not true..because vdj is incredible great software).
Lazy! dope.
