  1. I’m excited about this release!
I’m Interested to see if that wow & flutter stabilization has any ill effects with scratching.
And sync’ing a 3rd deck internal loop will be great if it works. If Serato implemented a drag and drop feature from current deck to a synced 3rd (or 4th) deck within 2 deck view, that would be a game changer for me.

  2. What amazes me are the number of great DVS DJs I know who are tech-savvy but don’t want to move from Scratch to Serato DJ. Can anyone explain? (other than Ableton linkage which none of these guys seem to use)

      • the feedback that I get when I ask is usually “i just prefer Scratch – it’s cleaner, simple etc” which doesn’t make a lot of sense to me given that SDJ looks about as minimal as I can think of

        • Scratch Live is a nice backup though.I once forgot to turn off automatic updates & when the OS updated…SL saved me because SDJ could no longer link with the Mixer….SDJ is so stable now it doesn’t make sense not to use it…I’ve done 7-8 hrs no problems multiple times.

      • You can run SSL surprisingly well on one of those old white “clamshell” plastic macbooks. That’s reason enough to keep what you’ve got, if it works for you.

believe it or not, alot of people really don’t need more than two turntables and a mixer.
