AlphaTheta release the CDJ-3000X. Full review coming soon but the key features are built-in Wi-Fi (no more Ethernet cables!), cloud storage access, and music streaming support alongside a larger 10.1-inch. You can now access Beatport Streaming and Tidal directly from the 3000x and also CloudDirectPlay. USB-C instead of SD card slot. However there is no (yet) stem support. Big news today from Serato, Serato DJ 4 has been released. Serato 3 was released over 2 years ago, so it’s fair to say we were quite excited when we first heard about this. Here’s one from AphaTheta that has just sneaked out, squarely aimed at beginners. The Rekordbox App for iOS and Android gets a Lite mode. It’s free (although the streaming services aren’t) and comes with Apple Music, Tidal and Soundcloud integration (plus more DJ centred services like Beatport (not available on Android)) so you can be mixing on your mobile or tablet within minutes.
