It’s hard to imagine a better way of hitting the weekend running than being played out of Friday evening by one of our very own. Arkaei recorded this video of the very lovely Numark NS7II a while ago, and Numark has just got round to pushing out to everyone. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

I like how he didn’t touch the jog wheels.
I like how you missed the four times he did spinbacks.
for the first time in …… well a long time ….the NS7II actually looks the right size for someone. cool performance too. nice one Ray.
like having a chick in bed but not touching her jugwheels
I couldn’t have said it better!
Just rip this out of my throat !
I agree with RDelight. I also miss seeing the moving platter in action, its pretty much the unique selling point of this controller. Although the performance was well done and explains alot of the features in a understandable manner. It looks like it had a good concept behind it! But i think the video targets most of the people who will go for the average pioneer equipment anyway, no matter what the controller can do. (Most Djs are just sheep and not shepherds themself! :-( )
The video production quality is neither bad or great: For me some magic is missing in grading / color correction, tracking & camera. For example: Look up Dj Rafik’s “Gold Steel” Video. It also has outdoor locations and is 5 years old, properly low budgeted, but stylistically done timeless: HD or not.
For video you ALWAYS want to bring a vision to life. With a smaller budget its hard, but a simple idea is often much more, than trying to get everything in.
Ok, so its over-cast, but look how great the colors on the controller look :-)
Just saw a tugboat!
“tugboat” – The most exciting part a the vid – Lol!!
Sadly, this video doesn’t make me want to go out & buy a NS7II.
Effects……. effects….. and…… more effects…….
Having spinning jogs & not playing with them??
Isn’t that one of the biggest selling points of the NS7.
Didn’t even touch the x-fader once!
Rather put a hardcore turntablist on & hit REC.
agree, effects are getting played out after a while, nobody really cares, but doing some proper scratching (not too much tho) will catch ppl’s attention quicker because scratching or juggling is an art when properly executed
I agree that the video does nothing to show the scratch potential of the Numark but it shows the capacitive effects buttons and it’s still a nice set – give the guy a break..
i love the fx in this
Nice work :)
LOL. Not even these Ean-Golden-advertised “Anglers” could make this video “better”. And this “But hey it’s only a demo” doesn’t make him less a Sucker…
all this “Call of Duty Chat”-Style guys here can u pls just come up with ur own “perfect” Video and stop this intolerance. Hard to see this kind of disrespect. Of Course there must be criticism but in my opinion not this way. shame on u – i thought this is a nice community…
dope
I’ve made a few demo videos, and can say, from experience, that this is extrememly well done, both from a technical and performance perspective. (Waveform on the rail was a super nice touch)
Nextlevelness… he haz it. That was incredible to watch… regardless of the equipment used. What I saw were skills, skills, and more skills. Fantastic.
Can Someone tell me what’s the name of the stand/table he is using?
