While most monitor designs are a variation on a monochromatic blocky theme, the memorably named Monkey Banana definitely shun the safe route and do things very much in their own geometric and chromatic style. They’ve been around for a while now, but have finally got distribution in the UK via Dynamic Distribution.
Coming in 4, 5, 6, and 8″ variants, with a 10″ sub, these certainly have impact like no others do. And the Turbo 4 monitors come in at £398 a pair (the Turbo 8s ate £790 a pair for reference), so I’m thinking that they should sneak into the upcoming group test.
