Not every software can be monumental and game changing. I’m sure the assorted vendors try, but sometimes it’s just about bug squishing. Inklen’s MixEmergency does just that, but word of the next point release will be one of those aforementioned monumental releases.

The word from Inklen:

  1. I could not possibly be happier with a DJ software than I currently am with Mixemergency. It is by far the most versatile, solid, inventive, and fun tool in my live performance arsenal. I’ve been a user since way back and I can’t think of a single update that has let me down. When new features come out, it’s always something very usable and goes into my repertoire immediately. Regardless of whether you are a Video DJ, regular DJ, or someone who just wants to add visuals to your performance, you should DL the demo and start messing around with it ASAP. The learning curve is so small that you’ll want to purchase the full version after 2 practice sessions. That’s what I did years ago and I’ll never go back to DJing without video.
