Coming next week: algoriddim djay Pro

djay pro is coming. And that's all we have on it. Well that's a lie, but that's all we can say. For now.

algoriddim djay pro for Mac

I’ll keep this short because algoriddim has sworn me to secrecy, but next week sees the next version of djay coming out, tantalisingly called djay pro. And as the guy who makes their videos, that’s my weekend taken care of. It’s a good job I’ve done most of my Christmas shopping. So speculate away, but I’m saying nothing.

  1. well there is already a djay app for Mac so this is a move to advanced features or will they make a move to PCs as well? they’ve made an Android version of the app, so the next OS to get it would be windows. that does look like a MBP but HP and others have made their knock offs so…

  2. If Algoriddim really wants to impress, the should not only integrate spotify but should also incorporate a much needed sample deck, particularly one which enables you to beat match samples and loop samples with either or both decks A and B. To me, that’s what Serato really excels at and Algoriddim has the potential to really up the Anty with a move like that!

  3. Spotify with offline playlist mode would be good…. That would make it boss the clubs & pubs DJ scene – despite them having a hell of a lot more sort before they can compete with Serato & NI.

  4. Im positive this will be a mac update.
I think it’s way too late though. Algoriddim basically abandoned their mac customers to focus on the iPad & android stuff. By now most people would’ve moved onto something else (especially any pro dj). if it’s a free upgrade then the old user’s will ‘give it a try’ if we have to pay again – then why bother?

  5. What if that image is actually of a laptop closing? Meaning Pro features are being implemented in the iOS version? Close your laptop… you won’t need it.

  6. Well the release for Pro is out… I am not really impressed by the lack of upgrade or discount that isn’t being offered to those who have actually paid for the original version of DJay. its great to have all these new features available, but there is no point in having the original DJay software and the Pro version installed. They did the same thing when DJay 2 was released for iOS. I would pay $19.99 for pro version being that I already own the full copy of the original DJay. watch them wait till the initial discount they are currently offering is over then offer the Pro version for the same discounted price to the users of the original DJay. These are great features the Pro version have available don’t get me wrong. Algoriddim really needs to think about the customers like myself who have supported them and suggest their software to others.

  7. they are missing a key “pro” feature. you are stuck with an internal software mixer. why can’t you output the decks to their own channels on any mixer with a built in sound card?

  8. Totally forgot to post my adventure with Algoriddim and DJay Pro. 1st I didn’t pay $49.99 for it, I paid $24.99. I went to their fourm and met some interesting people to say the least. This probably shouldn’t say pro. It’s far from it. But is it usable? YES it is… 7/10 score is totally fair. Worth 99 bucks… Nope and not worth $45 … $25 yes , understand it cost money to make this stuff but don’t charge us to beta test your software. That what I feel like I’m doing with it. Anyway thats my experience with DJay pro. Love djay 2 on my phone though and with the Wego 3 it’s good and worth having as a backup or as I got this whenever I want or need too. djay 2 without a controller on a 6 plus is way better also
