Who are The Saints DJs? The 30 second intro
The Saints DJs have rapidly risen to become one of the most exciting names in today’s hardstyle scene. What started as an unexpected collaboration between Jules and Rick quickly grew into a duo known for their explosive energy, creative mashups, and a sound that balances hard dance power with real musicality. After their debut “TUTUTU” launched them into the spotlight, hits like “ONE” and “OG RAVER” pushed them even further, leading to major shows at Defqon.1, Shutdown, and beyond. So at DJWORX we decided to have a quick with The Saints about their DJ tech and more. We’ve got a feeling that 2025 is only the beginning for the rise of The Saints DJs.

How would most people know you? (What are you most well known for?)
Rapid rise in hard dance scene, our tracks including – OG Raver, One and Say My Name and our Mega energetic stage performance.

Why did you decide to become a DJ and/or producer?
We always loved hard dance music and edm and to be a dj was a dream for both of us.

Started with a NUMARK mixtrack pro 2 after that went to Pioneer DJM 400 hahah
What is your home DJ tech set up currently?

Pioneer CDJ 3000
What’s on the tech shopping list?
New hearing protection haha, just lost them on tour again. (Ed – The Saints need to check out our article about hearing protection).
Throughout your career is there a piece of equipment that you have just never got on with?
The Mic for Jules 🤣, we leave the Mic up to Rick. And Denon controllers.
From a DJing point of view what three things do you always take to a gig apart from USB and headphones obviously!
HEARING PROTECTION! Our stage outfits and towels. (Ed – First time we’ve ever had anyone say towels. These are some energetic lads..)
Can you talk us through your productions? (If any)
Started with OG raw hardstyle. Now it’s way more funky and modern hard dance. It has to be super danceable. That’s why we created “OG RAVER” and the tracks from last year like “One” and “Say My Name”. Blending nostalgic EDM is something well never stop doing.
The Saints DJs – OG Raver
Where would you like to see DJ or production hardware and software go in the future?
Not to much going into automation. Then everything will start to sound the same. But on the other hand evolution is always nice in tech.
If you still have vinyl at home, how much?
Marillion – Misplaced Childhood. Levels – Avicii on vinyl. And also vinyl decks. Rick is currently taking lessons. Always respecting the roots! (Ed – Love this humility, theres many who wouldn’t admit to taking lessons, respect to The Saints DJs.)
Any DJs or producers that we should watch out for?
The Saints? (Ed – ………)
Outside of DJing and production, what tech do you use at home?
Almost none, home is also for rest for us to get away from the tech.

Instagram, TikTok, and classic WhatsApp haha. (Ed – The classic trifecta)
What app would you like to spread the word about?
Sleepcycle and meditation apps. Always take care of yourself 🙏🏼 (Ed – We could have done with hearing that in the 90s)
What non-music related product can’t you live without?
My nutribullet, smoothies keep us alive! And our bed ! Haha
Have you been to any great clubs or events recently, either as an artist or in the crowd?
Yes ! T7 in Paris is huuugee and always love Bootshaus. Both as artists. And UNVRS last summer was very nice as visitors

Do you have a favourite sports team?
Ajax Amsterdam soccer! (Ed – *Hides Feyenoord shirt*)
Do you have any book recommendations?
Ego is the enemy! Will make the world a better place if everyone read it! (Ed – We’ve not read this, but agreed some egos need to be kept in check)
