We know you all come here to get the very best DJ gear news, reviews and opinion. But we’d also love to hear what you have to say – the state of the DJ union if you will. We want to know about you dear reader – who you are, how you DJ and what you plan for the future.

We did this back in 2010, and got a phenomenal response. While I didn’t publish the results, this mass of vitally important data went some way towards the shaping of DJWORX. And it was also read by key industry people and has helped them shape their product offerings too.

But times change, and the digital DJ scene marches on at unstoppable rate. So it’s time to get current with the scene and ask you lot for an update. This will take perhaps 5-10 minutes of your time. And as an enticement, I managed to organise one hell of a prize for you. The thing in the middle you’ll recognise as a Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S4. The bigger units surrounding it are called Stanton ST-150 turntables, devices used in days of old to play “vinyl”. Oh look it up on wikipedia. And to seamless weld them together, there’s the Traktor Scratch Pro S4 upgrade that turns the S4 into a DVS rocking powerhouse.

CLICK HERE to take part in the survey, and remember to leave your email address at the end if you want your name in the hat for the prize draw.

As ever, thanks for taking the time to get involved. Every survey taken makes a massive difference.

THE COMMENTS SECTION

Commenting Etiquette

Welcome to DJWORX. It’s the most engaged community around, and we have a handful of house rules to keep it that way:
  • • Be polite and constructive.
  • • Treat others as you would expect to be treated. So please disengage keyboard warrior mode before hammering in a full caps rant.
  • • Stay on topic.
  • • Consider your tone of voice. Telling someone that they’re wrong comes across better as “I don’t agree and here’s why”.
  • • No links to copyrighted or offensive material.
Life is way too short to waste time policing comments. So break the rules and you’re out. It’s just the internet, and  the DJWORX community is way more important than catering to the fragile egos of ranting trolls. I trust I have been crystal clear.
