Berlin-based Ableton go update crazy with a trifecta of treats: new features in Ableton Live 9.5, a brand new Push 2 and Ableton Link for jam sessions.
Ableton Live is a professional digital audio workstation built for modern music production and performance. Widely adopted by DJs, electronic music producers, and live artists, Ableton Live is known for its fast workflow, rock-solid stability, and performance-focused design. Unlike traditional DAWs, Ableton’s Session View allows ideas to be triggered, arranged, and remixed in real time, making it a natural fit for club, studio, and stage environments.
Designed with electronic music in mind, Ableton Live offers powerful audio warping, flexible MIDI sequencing, and a deep collection of instruments and effects that integrate seamlessly into real-world DJ and production workflows. Whether preparing DJ edits, building tracks from scratch, or performing hybrid DJ/live sets, Ableton delivers precision timing, low latency, and reliable performance under pressure.
Ableton Live supports VST and AU plugins, external hardware, and a wide range of MIDI controllers, making it easy to slot into existing setups. With Max for Live expanding its creative potential even further, Ableton remains a go-to platform for producers who value speed, control, and creative freedom over gimmicks.
For DJs and producers, Ableton Live continues to set the standard.
