Although we’ve posted somanytimes about Mixvibes’ new journeys in music software, there may well be some of you not aware of Remixlive for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. Imagine a grid-based app geared towards performing with loops and samples, but stripped right back to the essentials… that’s Remixlive. And you can now have a go yourself as Remixlive 3 for iOS is available as a public beta.
Mixvibes opens public beta for Remixlive for iOS 3.0, calling all iOS musicians to discover a finger-drumming enhanced update.
Remixlive has reinvented itself with a dedicated finger-drumming grid to enhance the existing loop grid. As such, it becomes an app-counterpart to music hardware and a true digital instrument for aspiring and experienced iOS musicians. Other new features include the zoom waveform view, ideal for editing samples on the go, and a complete design overhaul improving the overall workflow.
To enter the program, beta testers can register on Mixvibes’ website to receive an invitation to install Remixlive through TestFlight – iOS’ official beta-testing app.
Main new features
Brand new finger-drumming mode
Now with an additional “Drum” grid including extra one-shot
Record finger-drumming patterns directly into the “Loop”
If you haven’t used Remixlive, I urge you to take this opportunity to try it out. You’ve nothing to lose, and it’s a heap of fun in the process. So give it a go and post your experiences in the comments.
