If I were to don my business Santa hat for a moment, we’re now in Q4 of the campaign. You dear readers now have some high expectations of where this is going, and believe me, we’re not going to let you down. Hell no.

Today, we take a detour from the North Pole and head to Berlin, and a similar detour from DJing into the related area of beat making. And there is none finer that Native Instruments’ Maschine MK2. We’ve scored a brand new model from them (photohacked into the shot). You should all read our man Chris Cartledge’s review on his own OhDratDigital site.

But to make this into even more of a thing, we’ve got a cover from my friends up the road at Decksavers, and once again a Neo d+ USB cable from good buddies at Vestax UK. And to top off this already stellar package, I’m throwing in a pair of Black Pioneer HDJ-1500 headphones. This is a complete beats-on-the-go setup, and should you be lucky enough to win it, you’ll love us for sending it to you, and hate us in equal measure for turning you into a social hermit.

      I was a loyal reader of Skratchworx for several years, maybe even longer, and many of my purchases were based on advice of Mark or other awesome reviewers who tend to be spot on. I imagine it’s a similar story for many of us. If it wasn’t for what the worx team I know I would have been left in the dark all these years. I must admit I didn’t check out the djworx site like I should but that’s changed now. I remember when I used to go to scratching related events and it turned out I made friends due to knowing of scratchworx and having that extra kind of bond, I imagine it will become the same for DJ’s in the future to have this site as a hub for information but community also. I guess the hardware vendors know this to be true.

        you can always come visit us tabelsits in the Skratchlounge (the forum of the skratchlounge). Lot’s of cool turntablizm stuff going on in there. I remember finding this Skratchworx site one day by accident. I haven’t looked back or elsewhere for reviews, support and community. Now DJ WORX, it’s still the same formula. Though I don’t spend a lot of time in Worx, I visit. Skratchlounge is where I hang. Mark, thanks for all the great reviews you’ve done. A lot of those reviews helped me to make informed decisions on quality gear.

    Of all the prizes that has appeared so far, this is one has definitely peaked my interest the most. For me, it’s one that can potentially improve all my avenues of music, not just my Djing. On the side, I sing with a big band, occasionally arranging, and often having to make backing tracks to practice myself. With the Maschine library behind me, I would not only be able to vastly improve my DJ sets by having a full Drum to play with (I’m often playing Deep, Chill, Tech House, so its fairly easy toa dd), but I would be able to create far more convincing tracks for me to practice, and possibly use out if the need occurred.

    This weeks prize would be a fantastic asset to my collection, and significantly help to improve two Facets of my musical interests.

    this thing is a beast. add this to any rig and you can really set it off with your sets.
    being able to use this in conjunction with dj’n is the kind of thing i’ve been waiting for since digital dj’n started becoming the standard.
    you don’t need more than this. this needs to be the club standard like CDJs and tech 12s
